Mark Gibson, our AWS Certified Weld Inspector, shares, "Until we received the new 5230 Trumpf press brake, we had to build the tank assembly in two pieces. You take a chance with leaks, welding correctly and quality issues. With this new technology we have converted this into one piece. It reduces rejects from weld, leakage and squareness. When we form the part, the brake has a laser that forms it. It measures the part for the angle. It was an 88 degree angle. It measured the spring break and did it again to ensure a true 90. It results in better quality for the customer."
