INDUSTRY
Electrical panels are used in breaker boxes for both, residential and industrial purposes, varying in size and shape. Due to strong demand on electrical panels, Schneider Electric needed to put in another series of stamping presses. They requested custom designed and built press operation frames.
THE “ASK”
To support stamping press operations, the frame that was requested would be in the back end of an 800-ton press, which is the height of a house. In fact, it shakes the ground when the press hits because of the impact. The conveyer goes out of the three white lines on the ground and will carry the parts from the stamping press to the collection boxes. Additionally, we were asked to build parts for the magnetic conveyer. The second request was a rack that holds shaker trays. This is where they collect bi-product from the stamping operation.

HOW WE HELP THE CUSTOMER
Schneider Electric created original drawings. We then created 3D designs, developing modifications to custom fit pieces for the needs of this press. The fabrication costs ended up being under budget with some of the efficiencies throughout the design process.
